PFANJ Testifies in Support of Marino “Rookie Bill”

On October 19, 2020, PFANJ 1st Vice President Tony Tarantino testified in Trenton in support of State Senate Bill S487 - the Marino “Rookie Bill”. This bill "enhances PFRS accidental death pension for surviving spouse by providing for minimum of $50,000 annually" and was released from committee unanimously.

Pine Hill FD Awared SAFER Grant to Hire 2 Firefighters

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded the Pine Hill Fire Department a $347,550 grant from the Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) program. The grant will fund the hiring of two (2) full time firefighters. Pine Hill Firefighters are represented by Camden County IAFF Local 3249.
